Join me to photograph New York City at night! I’ve got one space left to join me in New York City May 31-June 3rd for a special twilight/night photography urban photo safari in New York City. This unique event is limited to six (6) photography enthusiasts who want to experience Manhattan in the magical evening hours. I’ve deliberately kept the group size small so that I can provide you with individual attention and so that you can focus on your personal growth as a photographer.

We will head out each afternoon on a  photowalk to explore the city and then finish at an iconic site for sunset, twilght, and night photography. I will teach you creative techniques in the field for capturing unique photographs you will be proud to share. Every morning, we will have group image review sessions and I will provide “ask me anything” sessions on workflow and post-processing. Group lodging in New York City is available (not included in workshop fee).

I’m excited to announce an urban night photography workshop in New York City! Space on this tour is strictly limited to six (6) participants.

Each day, will start with an afternoon photowalk to explore the city and then finish at an iconic site for sunset, twilght, and night photography. I will teach you creative techniques in the field for capturing unique fine-art photographs. Every morning, we will have group image review sessions and I will provide “ask me anything” sessions on workflow and post-processing. You will have lots of free time during the middle of the day to explore Manhattan on your own, too!

  • Blue hour & twilight photography
  • Cityscapes and architecture photography
  • Creative post-processing techniques

Join me September 22-25 for an urban-themed location workshop in Denver, Colorado. On this tour, we’ll explore the Colorado capitol with an emphasis on art and architecture. The late September weather in Denver is perfect for evening/twilight shooting, too.

I have arranged for discounted lodging in downtown Denver within walking distance of most of our locations, including:
