Looks like the new Nikon DSLR is a D5000, a replacement to the D40/D60 line.

Join me for Capture NX Online Workshops
I am pleased to announce that I am offering a series of live, online workshops on Capture NX2.
Dave Black shows you “the way he sees it”
My good friend Dave Black has published his first book, entitled The Way I See It. The Way I See It is a compilation of 50 one-page workshops that illustrate Dave’s masterful approach to lighting and composition. While this book is an excellent tutorial, it is also a handsome coffee table book– the color images are stunning.
For any photographer, especially those who use the Nikon system, you’ll love Dave’s simple approach to building a scene and capturing traditional events in a manner that brings emotion and feeling to his images.
To order The Way I See It, visit Dave’s website or visit his store page directly at Blurb.com.

A hint of things to come?
I was reading the addendum to the Capture NX 2 manual that explained the use of the Auto Distortion correction feature, and came across this statement:
taken with On selected for the auto distortion control option
available in the shooting menu of some cameras. In other
cases, auto distortion control defaults to off.”
Are you obsessed with cloning?
The clone tool is one of the more popular features in digital darkroom software.
