Shooting Blue Hour in Paris
I’m going to chalk this photo up to the “mandatory shot” department. You can’t go to Paris and not enjoy the splendor of the Eiffel Tower at night. I set up in the early evening with my clients and we enjoyed the spectacle during the magical “blue hour” of twilight. Even though this image isn’t particularly unique, it’s mine.
This shot is actually a 4-shot stitched panorama (merged in Lightroom Classic CC). Each image was captured at 2 seconds, f/8, ISO 64 with my Nikon D850 mounted to a Gitzo 1-series tripod with RRS BH-40 ball-head. The final image weighed in at just around 109 megapixels!
