Aurora HDR Update 1.1 Improves Lightroom Support

I just got word that Aurora HDR for Mac was updated today to version 1.1 with a significant improvement for Lightroom users. Before today, Aurora would only open original images (usually RAW) from Lightroom. Now, you can choose “Use TIFF files with Lightroom adjustments.”

Lightroom users can now use exported TIFFs that preserve their LR adjustments when merging to Aurora HDR.

This is a much-welcomed feature for users like me, who use Lightroom to apply lens profile corrections and white balance adjustments on their original images before merging them to HDR.

  1. Jason – I uploaded the new version of Aurora HDR and I don’t see where in the export tab in Lightroom where I can use TIFF files with Lightroom Exports. Is there a preference setting in Aurora HDR that I am not seeing?
