This female Anhinga had just come out of the water after a dip at the aptly named Anhinga Trail in Everglades National Park, Florida. There are lots of spots along the trail where you can easily set up your tripod and just wait for the action to begin.
Specs: Nikon D300s with 200-400mm f/4.0 AFS VR G zoom Nikkor lens, 1/1000s @ f/5.6.
