Discover the biodiversity of Central America as we photograph the wildlife of western Panama. On this unique photo safari, you’ll photograph rainforest birds, mammals, insects and more. Observe and photograph colorful birds from a 65′ high observation tower, tour the rainforest with experienced naturalist guides, and enjoy home-cooked meals at our luxury air-conditioned eco lodge retreat.

When: April 15-22, 2023 from Panama City, Panama

Photo Tour of Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast

I’m heading to meet my photo tour group in Split, Croatia! We’ll be boarding a 40-passenger luxury yacht on Saturday and spending the next 7 nights touring and photographing the Dalmatian coast. Our tour concludes in the ancient city of Dubrovnik. I’m very excited to meet my clients and help them discover creative travel photography techniques.

You are expected to have a working knowledge of exposure and how to set up your camera’s exposure and autofocus settings.

Croatian Coast by Luxury Yacht: Oct. 7-17, 2021

Discover the ancient cities along the Adriatic Coast on a 8-day cruise aboard a chartered yacht. Unlike traditional cruises, we’ll be aboard a 30-passenger yacht and spending nights in ports of call. That means we’ll be able to explore each city on our itinerary during the peak times for photography, including sunset and twilight. Along the way, you’ll get expert photographic instruction, learn mobile workflow, and discover creative approaches to travel photography with professional photographer Jason P. Odell.
