This week, we are taking a look at panoramic images. Panoramas are generally images that have a uniquely wide aspect ratio. We like panoramas for their creative impact. You can capture panoramic images in a variety of ways, including cropping in-camera or in post, and by “stitching” together several images captured in sequence.

Nikon Z5 announced, New fixed-aperture telephotos from Canon
This week, we’re discussing the just-announced Nikon Z5 and 24-50mm f/4-6.3 kit lens, along with some interesting new telephoto lenses from Canon. These new RF lenses for Canon’s mirrorless system offer fixed f/11 apertures… something we probably wouldn’t have considered prior to mirrorless cameras. Nikon also released firmware updates for the Z50, Z6, and Z7, plus an update for the FTZ mount adapter.
Great Sand Dunes National Park, Unexpected Photo Accessories
This week, Rick and Jason travel to Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado for some much-needed landscape photography using the Nikon Z system. Jason tested the Nikon 24-200mm zoom lens, and Rick discovered a really cool decayed building in a nearby town.
