B&H To offer Sales Tax Refunds with new Credit Card

B&H PayBoo card
In an interesting move, B&H is offering a new credit card that will refund sales tax on internet purchases.

Nearly one year ago, the US Supreme Court ruled that out-of-state retailers must collect sales tax on internet sales. While not all states have fully implemented this ruling, in time you will no longer have a sales-tax free way to shop. You’ve probably already seen that Amazon and other online retailers have started charging sales tax on internet purchases. For those of us purchasing photography gear, sales tax savings were a huge reason to shop online.

Today, site sponsor B&H Photo announced a premium credit card in conjunction with PayBoo that offers a rebate equivalent to your state’s sales tax. This card, issued through Synchrony Bank, is only valid for purchases at B&H Photo. You will still pay sales tax on your purchase, but then you’ll get an instant rebate on your order to offset the sales tax amount.
